on the occasion of the opening of the ‘deltour design’ furniture shop in marseilles, mueros made a rare appearance as a duo (2 x guitars plus drum machine/space echo/noise) supporting dj xxx at the machine à coudre.

à l’occasion de l’ouverture du magasin « deltour design » à marseilles, mueros s’est exceptionnellement produit en duo (2 guitares + drum machine + space echo + noise) en appui de dj xxx à « la machine à coudre ».

much was drunk, much noise was improvised, and here are some photos taken by pascale (animal vacarme) during the show.

finally working towards getting this site finished and running as it should.

first of all, please feel free to leave comments, we like your feedback, we promise also that we will try to add some element of french on here, it will happen, i don’t know when but it will.

lots of things are going to happen over the next few months:

we are currently mixing and finalising the new album, it should be on sale for the concert at the volume on the 31st of october. Matthieu’s artwork for the cover is fantastic and the sound is loud and violent. We still haven’t finalised the title but we’re getting there. It took a long time to put together but we’ve got pretty good feelings about it.

we are also finalising the booking of the tour as we speak, it will start, as i said earlier, with a concert at the volume in nice with the maria goretti quartet and then continue in montpellier on the 3rd of november and from there we will travel north covering france, belgium, holland and finishing in paris on the 14th. we don’t know what awaits us on the road but that’s why we’re going to be honest its an important stage in mueros’ existance.

there’s other news but details aren’t sufficiently finalised yet, so we’ll keep you posted as and when. Also we’ll publish all of the dates regarding the tour as soon as they are all finalised.

in 2008 our good friend steph coda scripted a short filmed based on the first versions of  ‘ghosts’ a track which will appear on the second album in a revised form  which is due out later in the year.

En 2008, notre ami Steph Coda a scénarisé et réalisé un clip vidéo basé sur la première version de « ghosts », un morceau qui apparaitra (dans une nouvelle version) sur le deuxième album du groupe cet automne.

in autumn 2008 mueros recorded a live improvisation in its rehearsal space, only two elements were dicided in advance:

1) that the piece would last no more than 38 minutes

2) that a toy music box that played ‘le temps des cerises’ would feature.

the un edited session has been released as a CDR in a limited edition of 100 examples.

A l’automne 2008, mueros a enregistré une improvisation libre dans sa salle de répétition. Seul 2 éléments étaient imposés à l’avance :

1) la pièce ne dépasserait pas 38 minutes.

2) une boîte à musique jouant « le temps des cerises » serait utilisée.

La session d’enregistrement brute a été sortie en CDR en édition limitée à 100 exemplaires.

‘zero’ is mueros’ first album, it contains material recorded for the théatre national de nice production of ‘norway today’, along with some other tracks recorded concurrently.

it was all recorded in our cellar on a computer with very limited resources. and mastered by morgan at iceberg studios.

it is available on cd as a limited edition of 500, each cover has been hand illustrated by members of the band.

« zero » est le premier album de mueros. Il contient des morceaux initialement enregistrés pour la pièce « norway today » produite par le théatre national, ainsi que plusieurs morceaux indépendants mais composés par le groupe à la même époque.

Il a été enregistré dans notre cave sur un ordinateur avec peu de ressources ; le mastering a été fait par Morgan aux studios iceberg.

Le CD est disponible dans une édition limitée de 500 exemplaires . Chaque pochette est unique et illustrée par un membre du groupe.
